7th July 2004Dear Gerry,
On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you most sincerely for your letter of condolence following the death of my father Harry Fisher.
The church at Stafford Crematorium was overflowing with my Father's friends and former colleagues, some of whom I had not seen for many years.
The number of people present brought strength and comfort to us all and confirmed how highly regarded and popular my dad was.
Unfortunately, I do not have e mail facilities. I should be most grateful if you would pass on my sincere thanks to his many friends for their cards and messages of condolence and of course their attendance at my fathers funeral.
Mr Harold Wright spoke about my father during the service. I and all the family thought is a most fitting eulogy.
Members of NARPO acted as Pall bearers and arranged for my fathers coffin to be draped with the NARPO Flag. I'm sure he would have been most proud.
It is times like these when one feels the closeness and support of the Police Family.
Many thanks once more.
Kind Regards,
Warren Fisher.
